Usage up and a busy month of releases

Elfa, the AI market intelligence platform that tracks what traders and crypto projects are talking about, posted its October product round-up on its official X account at 11:02 UTC on Tuesday 3 November 2026 (12:02 in Amsterdam). The company opened with a growth number: it said its usage grew 112% month over month in October. The thread links to the full October patch notes on Elfa's blog, a changelog page dated 23 October 2026.

The biggest technical change of the month was the launch of the Elfa v3 endpoints, which Elfa says broadens its API coverage across events, assets and profiles. We covered that launch separately when it happened. This article focuses on the rest of the October list, which touches almost every part of the product: the Explore page, a new Events area, Elfa's Auto automation tool, chat, and the developer portal where API customers manage their plans.

Explore, Calls and the new Events tab

On the app side, Elfa rebuilt the Calls tab on Explore. It now groups calls into Top Thesis, Standouts and Latest Calls, and every asset gets its own thesis card. Tapping a call shows it on a price chart from the moment it opened until it closed, which makes it easier to judge whether a trader's call actually played out.

The regime rail, which sums up the current market regime in a single word, was redesigned and now has tooltips that explain each metric behind it. The events feed on Explore can be sorted by Relevant or Latest, where Relevant puts the highest-impact events of the last 24 hours first. The mindshare heatmap got sparklines on every tile and an option to save it as an image.

There is also a new Events tab that lays out arcs, storylines and individual events, and Telegram sources can now be opened as the original message from the sources drawer. Search is back in the navigation bar for finding any token or stock, and your profile now opens with your remaining credits, the reset date and your usage.

Auto and chat improvements

Auto, Elfa's trigger and action layer for automated workflows, gained new trigger steps. Plans can now be built off Events, Calls and Mindshare, and the Calls trigger can be used to follow a specific trader. When a plan stops, Elfa now shows the reason, and if it stopped because it ran out of credits, you can top up from the same screen.

In chat, charts and sparklines now refresh with live data, follow-up questions stay in whichever mode you picked (Ask or Auto), and a bug that moved your chat when you pressed Back after sending was fixed.

Team accounts and easier AI connections for developers

The developer portal, Elfa's API portal, got several changes aimed at teams and agent builders. Organization accounts let you invite teammates by link, set roles and switch between a personal and an organization account from the header, with an Organization tab that lists members and an activity log.

A new sign-in-with-a-link option connects Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code or Codex to Elfa without pasting an API key, and access can be managed under Connected apps in Settings. Pay-as-you-go auto top-ups now fire the moment your balance drops below your threshold, so agent runs do not stall on a payment error. The Home balance now includes bonus credits, Home and Billing accept custom date ranges, and a card on Home shows whether your plan includes v3. Enterprise accounts also see included credits, overage and estimated overage per billing cycle, and a status page link sits in the sidebar.

Our take

Most of this list is polish, but two items stand out for people who build with Elfa. Organization accounts remove the awkward workaround of sharing one login across a team, and connecting AI assistants by link instead of pasting keys is a real security improvement, because a key copied into a chat window is easy to leak. The instant top-up also matters if you run agents that would otherwise fail halfway through a task. The 112% usage figure is Elfa's own and is not independently verified, so treat it as a company claim. If you only use the app, the rebuilt Calls tab with its price-chart view is the change worth trying first.
