What Hyperliquid announced

Hyperliquid announced on its official X account on 27 October 2026 that an Extended (XTEN) hyperp has been listed with up to 3x leverage. The exchange said the listing was made by community request.

The post came with a short video card titled "Perp listing: XTEN (Extended) hyperp".

What the announcement leaves out

The post does not mention trading fees, a launch promotion, funding details or which countries can use the market. Check the market's order form on Hyperliquid for the current leverage limit and margin settings before you open a position.

Before you trade

New listings on tokens without a mature spot market usually have thinner liquidity and larger price swings than established perpetuals. Even at 3x, a fall of about a third against a long position can wipe out its margin.
