What the campaign offers
OKX Wallet has announced a Doppler Finance campaign with 20 million XDP tokens allocated to qualifying traders. The top 8,000 participants by eligible volume share two equal-sized pools: one divided evenly, the other according to trading activity. This is a wallet campaign with a competitive ranking, so buying the token alone does not establish a reward entitlement.
[1]Join before generating eligible volume
The campaign page provides the practical sequence: select Join, complete registration, and then trade eligible token pairs through the OKX DEX Aggregator during the event. An aggregator finds trading routes across decentralized markets. The relevant measure is the volume recognized by this campaign after joining, not every purchase of XDP wherever it happens.
For a simple illustration, imagine two otherwise identical transactions, one completed before registration and one afterwards. Under the campaign’s stated sequence, the earlier transaction does not satisfy the after-joining condition. The later transaction still needs the correct trading route, eligible pair and timing. This example explains the order of operations; it does not verify any particular wallet’s qualification.
[2]Keep the trading and claiming windows separate
The announced trading window runs from 28 September at 13:40 UTC to 30 September at 13:40 UTC. Claiming starts two hours later, at 15:40 UTC, and ends on 14 October at 15:40 UTC. Rewards require a manual claim on the event page and a network fee. A final trading cutoff and a later claim deadline are different actions, not an extension of the trading period.
[1] [2] [3]How to read the two reward pools
Here is an illustrative calculation using the announced allocation. If there are exactly 8,000 qualifying winners, the 10 million-token equal pool gives 1,250 XDP to each. That arithmetic depends on the stated winner count; it is not a promise to everyone who joins.
For the other pool, suppose one hypothetical winner accounts for 0.02% of all winners’ eligible volume. Multiplying 10 million by 0.0002 gives 2,000 XDP. Combined with the illustrative equal share, that would be 3,250 XDP. The percentage and result are invented to explain the calculation, not live leaderboard data.
The denominator matters. It is the combined eligible volume of winning addresses, rather than one person’s deposited balance or the token’s entire market volume. In our example, doubling that denominator while holding the participant’s own volume constant halves the proportional share. The calculation cannot be completed from your personal volume alone; it also depends on the competition’s final qualifying totals.
[1] [2]Why the current event page matters
OKX’s general X Launch guide describes snapshot-based qualification: qualification depends on historical Boost volume and wallet balances, and trades after the event starts do not count toward that period. It also explains that individual events can have different requirements. Those general instructions alone do not describe all the requirements displayed for this campaign.
The Doppler event’s own FAQ explicitly describes registration followed by eligible trading during the campaign. That event-specific instruction is the basis of the sequence above; it does not establish that no other eligibility checks apply. Historical Boost points, a previous campaign’s balance threshold or its reference date should not be imported into this event without confirmation on its own page. The difference is material: it changes which activity a participant would expect to count. Read the named campaign’s rules before interpreting a generic guide or an older reward calculator.
[2] [3]A token allocation is not a profit calculation
The event terms leave participants responsible for costs and allow disqualification for abusive conduct, including wash trading and using multiple wallets to obtain additional rewards. Access remains subject to jurisdictional restrictions; this announcement does not establish worldwide availability.
Keep the reward calculation separate from the economic result. As an invented bookkeeping example, receiving tokens valued at 18 currency units after spending 7 on charges leaves 11 before any trading gain or loss. A separate trading loss of 15 would turn that combined result into minus 4. These figures are not XDP prices, a fee quote or a forecast. A large displayed token count cannot by itself answer whether participating leaves someone better off.

Focus on a calculation; all assumptions remain visible.
- Equal pool
1,250 XDP
Assuming exactly 8,000 qualifying winners: 10,000,000 divided by 8,000.
- Proportional pool
2,000 XDP
Invented 0.02% volume share multiplied by 10,000,000.
- Combined illustration
3,250 XDP
1,250 plus 2,000, subject to both assumptions above.
Illustrative arithmetic, not a live reward estimate or a qualification check. [1] [2]
- Joining alone does not establish a reward entitlement.
