What Aave announced
Aave posted on its official X account at 15:16 UTC on Wednesday 4 November 2026 (16:16 in Amsterdam) that SPCXc is now live on the Aave V4 market for Coinbase Tokenized Stocks on Base. Users can borrow USDC against it.
SPCXc is the tokenized SpaceX stock in the Coinbase lineup on Base; it was already on Base's official token list when we covered the lineup in October. As with every tokenized stock in this market, Aave says it is only available in eligible jurisdictions outside the US.
What it means for SPCXc holders
Until now, SPCXc holders could buy, hold or sell the token. With this listing they can also post it as collateral in the Aave V4 market and take out a USDC loan, keeping their SpaceX exposure while getting dollars to use elsewhere. Aave did not say what loan-to-value ratio, liquidation threshold or supply cap applies to SPCXc, so check those in the Aave app before borrowing.
Our take
SpaceX is one of the most talked-about names in the tokenized stock lineup, so adding it as collateral is a natural step. The risk is the same as for any stock-backed loan: if the price falls far enough, the position can be liquidated, so borrow well below your limit.
