What Aster launched

Aster announced on its official X account on 23 October 2026 that three new perpetual futures markets are live: BTCUSDC, ETHUSDC and SOLUSDC. The exchange presented the launch as another step with Arc and Circle, the issuer of USDC, in expanding the stablecoin's role in onchain trading.

Aster's public futures API confirms the three contracts. Each is listed as a perpetual with USDC as both the quote asset and the margin asset, and each shows an active trading status. In practice that means profits, losses and margin on these markets are counted in USDC, so a trader who already holds USDC can open a position without first converting it into another collateral asset.

Order sizes on the new markets

The API sets the same minimum order value of 5 USDC on all three markets. The smallest order size is 0.001 BTC on BTCUSDC, 0.001 ETH on ETHUSDC and 0.01 SOL on SOLUSDC. Price steps are 0.10 USDC for bitcoin and 0.01 USDC for ether and Solana. These are exchange parameters that Aster can change, so the order form on the trading page is the place to check current limits before placing a trade.

What the announcement leaves out

Aster's post does not give maximum leverage, trading fees, funding details or any launch promotion for the new markets, and it does not say which countries can use them. It also does not explain what part Arc and Circle play beyond being named in the announcement. Perpetual futures are leveraged products that can lose value quickly, so readers should check the contract details on Aster and their local rules before trading.
