What OKX announced

OKX said on its official X account on 23 October 2026 that OKX Card is coming soon to the US, and pointed users to a page where they can join early. The US card page says the card is coming soon and asks visitors to log in to their OKX account to join the waitlist.

The card is a Mastercard that draws on stablecoins the user already holds, so purchases are paid from a crypto balance rather than a bank account. OKX says the US card is issued by WebBank. It also lists no foreign-exchange fees and no transaction fees. Neither the post nor the visible text of the card page gives a launch date or a list of eligible states; the page has FAQ entries on both questions, so check them before planning around the card.

How the cashback tiers work

Cashback is paid in USDG, a dollar stablecoin, and depends on the user's OKX Pay tier. Everyone starts at Classic: 2% back on up to $2,500 of eligible spending a month, so at most $50. Plus pays 4% on up to $10,000 ($400 cap), Premium 4.5% on up to $20,000 ($900), and Signature 5% on up to $30,000 ($1,500).

The top Infinite tier pays 10%, but only on up to $15,000 of monthly spending, so its cap is the same $1,500 as Signature. For someone spending $20,000 a month, Signature and Infinite would both pay $1,500.

A tier is set by the best of three measures: OKX VIP level, the 30-day average OKX Pay balance, or card spending over the last 30 days. Plus, for example, needs a $40,000 balance, $10,000 of spending or VIP 1. Infinite needs $500,000, $100,000 or VIP 4 and above. OKX says existing VIP status carries over automatically and the spending cycle resets on the 1st of each month.

The conditions that decide whether a purchase earns

The most important rule is in the fine print: cashback is only paid on eligible purchases made with USDG and settled through Auto repayment. Purchases paid with USDC or USDT, and purchases settled through Manual (fiat) repayment, do not earn cashback. A user who mainly holds USDT would need to hold USDG instead to earn the advertised rates.

OKX also promises instant payouts, with some exclusions; rewards are deposited when the transaction posts. Separately, money left in OKX Pay between purchases earns yield: 4% APY at Classic, rising to 10% at Signature and Infinite. That rate applies only up to $10,000, and anything above it earns the 3.5% base rate.
