Two calculations determine the advertised reward

OKX Wallet announced a 200,000 USDT campaign for Lorenzo Protocol’s BANK token. The top 5,000 participants by eligible trading volume share 80,000 USDT equally, with another 120,000 USDT divided according to each winner’s share of all winners’ eligible volume. Trading runs from 24 September 2026 at 11:30 UTC to 26 September at 11:30 UTC. Claims run from 26 September at 14:00 UTC to 10 October at 14:00 UTC.

The qualifying activity still matters

OKX’s general Web3 terms retain regional restrictions, additional eligibility conditions and possible fees. They do not establish a particular reader’s entitlement or provide BANK-specific qualifying routes, volume exclusions or tie rules.

[2]

Start with a deliberately simplified example

Assume exactly 5,000 people qualify and the equal pool is distributed in full. Dividing 80,000 by 5,000 gives 16 USDT per winner. This calculation is conditional on those assumptions. It does not predict how many people will qualify or tell a reader whether they will appear among them.

Next, assume a fictional winner accounts for 1% of the eligible trading volume attributed to all winners. Multiplying 120,000 by 0.01 produces 1,200 USDT for the volume portion. Adding the two illustrative components gives 1,216 USDT. That total remains an example of the distribution formula, not a quote for entering a particular trade.

The large difference between the components is useful to notice. Equal division answers how a common pool is shared among people. Proportional division answers how another pool is shared according to their relative activity. Neither calculation can be completed for a real person merely by knowing how much money they hold in a wallet.

The denominator can change the result

Suppose two fictional participants each record $10,000 of qualifying volume. In one hypothetical outcome, all qualifying winners together record $1 million; in another, they record $2 million. The individual represents 1% in the first case and 0.5% in the second. On the stated volume pool, those fractions imply $1,200 and $600 respectively before considering the equal portion.

The individual figure stayed the same while the result halved. That is the central limitation of any calculator asking only for personal trading volume. Without the total that forms the denominator, it must either ask the reader to invent that number or silently assume it. A transparent example shows the assumption explicitly and leaves actual ranking unresolved.

Even a snapshot of a ranking would answer only a question about that snapshot. It would not supply the final distribution inputs by itself. For a retrospective calculation, a reader would need the final eligible figures used in the allocation, rather than a promotional estimate or an intermediate position.

Gross rewards and the trading outcome are different totals

Imagine another participant later receives $24 of reward value, pays $9 in transaction-related costs and loses $22 through the trades themselves. Combining these invented numbers produces a loss of $7. Describing the $24 receipt alone would omit the cost of obtaining it. This example is deliberately small to keep the calculation visible; it is not an estimate of BANK prices, trading fees or likely rewards.

A second fictional participant might have a positive trading result even without a reward. Those two cases illustrate why campaign participation and trading performance should be recorded separately before they are combined. Otherwise, a bonus can obscure a loss or be incorrectly credited for a gain that came from a different source.

Put the claim deadline on a separate timeline

A useful personal record has distinct spaces for activity and collection. The first records what happened during the qualifying period; the second records whether an awarded amount was actually collected. Combining the two into one event can make a pending entry look like money already received.

For this campaign, the dated timeline above supplies the announced windows without implying that trading remains open whenever this article is read. Someone revisiting the archive later should first locate themselves on that timeline. The arithmetic remains intelligible after a campaign ends, but the opportunity to perform an action depends on its own deadline. None of the worked examples checks a live account, confirms a rank or establishes a claimable balance.

Explore a hypothetical pool allocation

Assume full distribution to exactly 5,000 qualifying winners. Set one winner’s share of eligible winning volume.

Illustrative examples: Assume exactly 5,000 qualifying winners and full distribution: 80,000 ÷ 5,000 = 16. No guaranteed minimum. Assume one winner represents 1% of all winners’ eligible volume: 120,000 × 1% = 1,200.

Equal component: 80,000 ÷ 5,000. Weighted component: 120,000 × your assumed share. No guaranteed minimum, live ranking or eligibility check; costs and losses are excluded. [1]
