What Base announced
Base, the Ethereum layer-2 network incubated by Coinbase, said on its official X account on 27 October 2026 that its team will be at Devcon Mumbai, the Ethereum Foundation’s developer conference, in large numbers. The plan for builders in India has three parts: workshops, office hours and a community day, each with its own RSVP page linked from the thread.
Three workshops, one a day
All three workshops run from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM IST, and the event pages say Youssef from Base DevRel leads them. Tuesday 3 November is about B20, which Base calls its native token standard: the session shows how to launch a B20 token in a single transaction while keeping full ERC-20 compatibility.
Wednesday 4 November covers Denim, Base’s fourth network upgrade. Base says the workshop explains what changes for existing apps and how to move from Flashblocks. Thursday 5 November, titled Money Legos, is about combining Base’s building blocks into full-stack financial apps, with neobanks and payment apps as the examples.
Office hours, Booth Day and Demo Day
From 3 to 5 November the Base builder team holds office hours at the Base booth every day from 3 to 4 PM IST. The event page describes them as open, one-on-one sessions where you can show a project and get practical feedback.
Friday 6 November closes the week. Base Booth Day is a meetup with Base’s community in India, co-hosted with partners Homebase and Inner Circle. Builder Demo Day, from 3 to 4:30 PM IST, lets builders show a live project to the Base team and get direct feedback. Base’s Booth Day post mentions demos in that same 3 to 4:30 PM slot, but the Booth Day artwork reads 10 AM to 1 PM, so check the RSVP page before you plan your day.
Why it matters
The Denim session is timely: we covered Denim’s move to 200ms blocks and its November mainnet target in an earlier story, and teams that rely on Flashblocks get a direct briefing here. The same day as this schedule, Base also opened Season 2 of its Builder Grant Program, so Demo Day and office hours are a chance to get feedback before applying.
