The bot-trading task
Bybit EU is offering a 10 USDC loss-cover voucher for at least €1,000 of eligible Spot Grid or Spot DCA bot trading. Verified EEA residents, excluding Italy and Malta, must register on the designated promotion page; available tasks appear after login.
The campaign runs from 12 to 31 October, with both boundaries at 10:00 UTC. Only completed, fee-paying trades count; cancelled or reversed trades are excluded. Rewards follow three-day checks, once per task, and depend on a shared 25,000 USDC pool allocated first come, first served.
Read the reward type before using it
The first practical step after receiving a reward is to check its details in the Rewards Hub. Bybit EU distinguishes between several instruments there. A trading fee saver offsets eligible spot transaction charges; a loss-cover voucher has a different purpose. A displayed reward amount should therefore be interpreted together with its type, permitted use and expiry, rather than as cash that can automatically be withdrawn.
The Rewards Hub guidance separates the deadline for claiming a reward from the expiry of a claimed reward. Claiming an item does not make it permanent. For fee savers, unused value is forfeited at expiry without reimbursement. A saver can be consumed across more than one eligible transaction, with its remaining balance carried forward while valid.
When a fee discount and fee saver both apply, the discount is calculated first and the saver follows. That sequence explains why a coupon’s face value and the amount used on an individual trade can differ. The account’s reward details are the place to check what remains available.
Coverage begins when the bot is settled
Bybit EU’s loss-cover guide says a voucher is applied when a bot is terminated and settled in USDC. It does not provide the money needed to start the strategy. The user must fund the bot first, and the voucher’s permitted bot type and settlement currency must match. The reward details should be checked before assuming that a particular strategy qualifies.
After claiming a voucher, the Use control leads to bot creation. On termination, an available qualifying voucher can reimburse a loss, with the reimbursement shown in the completed-bot record and credited to the Funding Account. This distinction matters: seeing a falling balance while a bot is running is not the same as receiving a reimbursement.
The guide allows a voucher to be used more than once where value remains, and says earlier-expiring vouchers take priority when several are available. It also notes possible small differences from decimal truncation. None of this establishes that a newly earned voucher will retrospectively cover the trades used to earn it.
A bot’s trading volume is not its profit
A Spot Grid bot automates purchases and sales at price intervals within a range chosen for the strategy. Bybit EU says there is no separate creation charge, but successful fills incur spot trading fees. Funds needed to establish the bot are moved from the Funding Account. Automated execution therefore still uses the trader’s assets and can generate transaction costs.
The grid-profit figure measures completed buy-and-sell cycles. Total profit and loss also reflects the changing value of the tokens the bot continues to hold, together with realised results and fees. A strategy can consequently display positive grid profit while its overall result is negative. Reviewing only the completed cycles would miss that remaining exposure.
The configured range also affects activity: outside its bounds, the bot stops placing new orders until the price returns. Termination settles the strategy at market prices. If the selected payout requires converting one token into another, the conversion can attract a spot trading fee. These mechanics explain why trading activity, the balance eventually returned and a qualifying voucher’s reimbursement should be assessed as separate figures.
