What Trezor announced
Trezor posted on its official X account at 16:31 UTC on Wednesday 4 November 2026 (17:31 in Amsterdam) that it has rebuilt Trade in Trezor Suite. "You shouldn't have to send your coins to an exchange and back just to make a trade," the post says, adding that Trade now puts everything in one place and adds cross-chain DEX swaps, Clear Signing and transaction simulation.
A Trezor blog post dated 3 November gives the details. The redesigned section has a cleaner layout, a new token picker, an account selector and a clear post-trade summary, so users can find an asset, see which account they are trading from and finish a trade in fewer steps without leaving Suite.
Where you can swap, and through whom
Trezor says DEX swaps, without KYC, are available on Bitcoin, Ethereum and EVM chains, Solana, Zcash, XRP, Tron, Litecoin and Dogecoin. Swap providers cover a wider range of networks, and both routes appear side by side in Suite so users can pick the one that suits the trade. What you receive is sent straight back to your wallet, with no separate exchange withdrawal and no need to connect another wallet app.
The partners Trezor names are SwapKit, a non-custodial DEX aggregator that is now integrated; LI.FI, which routes swaps across DEXs and bridges and is now available on Bitcoin as well as Ethereum and EVM chains; 1inch for EVM chains; and Changelly and ChangeNOW as swap providers.
Clear Signing and simulation before you approve
For supported transactions on Ethereum and EVM chains, Clear Signing shows the trade details in plain language on compatible Trezor devices, and transaction simulation powered by Blockaid shows what a swap is expected to return before you approve it on the device. Trezor says this helps users spot a mismatch or an unfavourable trade before signing rather than afterwards.
Trezor also points to the other ways to use crypto inside Suite: USDC and USDT yield with every step clear-signed, and staking for ETH, SOL, ADA and, recently added, TRX. It stresses that hardware signing protects keys and approvals but does not remove the risks of the protocols themselves.
Our take
Many Trezor owners still treat the device as cold storage and trade elsewhere, which means extra transfers, copied addresses and the risk of picking the wrong network. Putting DEX routes and swap providers in one screen, with simulation and on-device Clear Signing on EVM chains, removes most of those steps. Compare the quotes from both routes before you confirm, and remember that Clear Signing only covers contracts in the supported registry.
