Monad joins the Aave App deposit routes
Aave App, the consumer savings app from Aave Labs, now accepts USDC and USDT sent from the Monad blockchain. Aave announced the change on its official X account on 22 October 2026 and described the deposits as live in the mobile app.
The update follows the same pattern as earlier funding additions for Ethereum and HyperEVM: the app gains a new way for stablecoin holders to move money in, not a new product. The announcement names only the two stablecoins and the network. It does not mention a Monad-specific savings rate, a deposit bonus or an end date.
A Ghost Pass for people still on the waitlist
Aave App is still rolling out gradually, and many people who signed up are on a waitlist. In the same post, Aave published a Monad-themed Ghost Pass code that waitlisted users can enter for instant access. Ghost Passes are Aave’s invitation system for early access to the app.
The pass changes when someone can open the app; it does not change the terms that apply to money deposited afterward. Likewise, the new network makes funding easier for people who already hold stablecoins on Monad, but Aave has not tied it to a different rate or to wider country availability.
What to check before sending from Monad
Monad is an Ethereum-compatible blockchain whose public mainnet launched on 24 November 2025. Its official documentation lists the mainnet with chain ID 143 and MON as the currency symbol. Choosing the right network in a wallet matters: tokens sent on the wrong chain may not arrive where the app expects them.
Network fees on Monad are paid in MON, so a wallet holding only USDC or USDT also needs a small MON balance to send them. Monad’s gas documentation notes one difference from Ethereum: a transaction is charged for its full gas limit, not only the gas it ends up using. Wallets usually set that limit automatically, but an unusually high manual limit costs more.
