Aster starts shutting down ApolloX today: close positions and withdraw before the 48-hour wind-down ends

Aster is closing the door on ApolloX. In a notice on its official X account at 08:00 UTC on Tuesday 3 November 2026 (09:00 in Amsterdam), Aster said it will begin winding down the legacy APX contract at 10:00 UTC the same day, which is 11:00 in Amsterdam. The shutdown covers ApolloX on the web and through its API, and Aster describes it as part of a sunset it had already announced.

Aster expects the process to be completed within 48 hours, which puts the likely end around 10:00 UTC on Thursday 5 November if it runs the full time. During the wind-down, protocol-owned funds will be migrated to Aster via the bridge.

What ApolloX users should do now

If you still hold a balance or an open position on ApolloX, Aster encourages you to close the positions and withdraw your funds before the sunset is completed. Aster points anyone who needs help to its customer support team on Discord.

The notice does not say what happens to balances or positions that are still on ApolloX once the 48 hours are over, so it is safer not to wait until the end of the window.
