What Base announced
Base named the ten startups in Base Batches 004 on its official blog on 3 November 2026. Base Batches is the network's accelerator for early-stage teams, run with the Base Ecosystem Fund, and this is the Fall 2026 cohort that Base opened for applications in August, with a 9 September deadline.
The teams are close to the end of the program, which finishes with a Demo Day for investors in New York on 18 November. Base says it picked founders with strong domain expertise, a clear reason to build onchain and Base as their default network, and that it favoured products that could serve users at scale.
Stablecoin payments
Three teams work on getting stablecoins into everyday payments. Conta is building a self-custodial payments account connected to PIX, Brazil's instant payment system, with balances held in a wallet the user controls. Saturday is building a point-of-sale product that lets merchants take payments on an iPhone and settle in stablecoins on Base. LEDiG is building stablecoin liquidity and onchain foreign-exchange hedging for businesses in Africa and other emerging markets.
Tokenized stocks and credit
Three more teams target markets for tokenized stocks, the onchain tokens that track listed shares. Greek is building tokenized options for hedging and yield strategies, Grow is building a self-custodial investment app for emerging markets that offers tokenized stocks, ETFs, crypto and commodities through local-currency stablecoins, and Tribeca is building a 24/7 exchange for tokenized assets with offchain order matching and onchain settlement.
Two teams work on borrowing. BitRepo lets bitcoin holders borrow stablecoins against their BTC and put that capital into short-duration credit, and Renn is building fixed-term loans against crypto and tokenized stocks, using option hedges to manage the collateral's price risk.
AI commerce
The last two teams focus on AI agents as buyers. Flovia helps API providers see how AI agents find, use and pay for their services and where they drop off. Mercatus AI is building an exchange for AI inference, the computing behind model responses, with monthly forward contracts and a standard unit for comparing prices across models.
What the teams get
Each team is offered a $100K investment from the Base Ecosystem Fund, subject to the fund's diligence review, along with an eight-week virtual program with a dedicated advisor, weekly support and access to subject experts, plus content capture for visibility and the Demo Day slot. Base adds that the post is for information only and is not investment advice or an offer of securities.
Our take
This is not a product you can use today, but the list is a useful early look at what Base expects to grow next: stablecoin checkout, tokenized stocks and agent payments, the same themes that filled its October recap. None of these apps has public pricing or availability yet, so treat them as projects to watch rather than services to sign up for.
