Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain are open again
Binance has reopened withdrawals on two more networks. In a "Withdrawal Update" on its official X account at 07:49 UTC on 1 November 2026 (08:49 in Amsterdam), the exchange said withdrawals "have now been restored" for USDC, USDT and ETH on the Ethereum network, and for USDC, USDT and BNB on BNB Smart Chain (BSC).
Binance added that it "will continue to restore additional assets and networks in phases following the completion of our security checks", and that further updates will come through official Binance channels. The post did not give a timetable for the next networks.
Where phase one stands
The update quotes Binance's earlier post from 06:20 UTC, which named the Bitcoin network as the first batch opened in phase one. Binance Customer Support said in a reply on X at 07:40 UTC that phase one began rolling out on 1 November between 06:00 and 09:00 (UTC) and covers selected assets across 15 networks.
In a later reply at 07:55 UTC, Binance Customer Support listed what is restored so far: BTC on the Bitcoin network, ETH, USDT and USDC on Ethereum, and BNB, USDT and USDC on BSC. That is three of the 15 phase one networks. The full zero-knowledge Proof of Reserves report, which Binance has said it expects by Tuesday 3 November (UTC), is still pending. Our earlier stories on the new withdrawal wallets and the Bitcoin-first reopening have the background.
What this means for your withdrawals
If you hold USDC or USDT on Binance, check which network you withdraw on. Binance has named Ethereum and BSC for these stablecoins, so choosing another network may still show as unavailable. ETH is listed on Ethereum and BNB on BSC.
Binance Customer Support asks users to check the withdrawal page for the latest availability of each asset and network. Before you send, double check the destination address and network in your own wallet, and do not trust addresses or links sent in replies or private messages. Exchange.news will report the next batches when Binance confirms them.
