The latest proof is ready
Binance posted on its official X account at 09:08 UTC on Friday 6 November 2026 (10:08 in Amsterdam) that "ZKProof for the latest PoR is ready" and that "users can verify their balances on Binance are backed at a minimum of 1:1." The short update quotes Recovery Update #7 rather than publishing a new numbered recovery article.
Recovery Update #7, shared on 4 November 2026, said Binance had taken a new Proof of Reserves snapshot at 00:00 UTC that day covering 44 tokens, up from 10 in the previous snapshot, and that generating the full zero-knowledge proof would take approximately 50 to 60 hours because of the computational workload. The 6 November post is the follow-through on that estimate.
What the 4 November snapshot covered
According to Recovery Update #7, the 4 November snapshot is available on Binance's Proof of Reserves website and was meant to give an updated view of assets that are fully accounted for after the security incident. Binance did not list all 44 token tickers in that update; check the PoR site for the covered set.
Update #7 also said Binance had replenished approximately 98% of the amount affected by the incident and was still buying the remaining, less liquid tokens through market and OTC channels. Today's short post does not repeat those replenishment figures; it only confirms that the zero-knowledge proof for the latest snapshot is ready.
How to check, and what to watch for
Binance points users to verify on its own channels. Use the official Proof of Reserves page at binance.com/en/proof-of-reserves and only the Binance app or website. Do not follow wallet addresses, download links or "support" offers sent in replies or private messages.
This update is separate from Recovery Update #9 earlier on 6 November, which reopened withdrawals for more assets across nine networks. Withdrawal status and PoR verification are related recovery steps, but they are not the same action.
Our take
A usable zero-knowledge Proof of Reserves is one of the few ways users can check Binance's 1:1 claim for themselves after the incident. The post is short, so confirm the covered token list and the verifier steps on Binance's own PoR page before you treat any balance as verified.
