Three numbers from Coinbase Wallet
Coinbase Wallet put numbers on its Solana trading on 22 October. In a short post it said Solana swaps “land in 0.6 seconds”, that 98.6% of swaps land onchain, and that both figures were measured across 6.5 million real trades. The post ends with a direct pitch: “Tried Coinbase Wallet six months ago? Try it again.”
A swap “lands” when its transaction is confirmed on the Solana network. One that fails or expires does not land, and the trader has to try again, often at a different price. A 98.6% rate therefore means that, by the wallet’s own count, about 14 in every 1,000 swaps did not land.
Solana inside a multichain wallet
Solana is one of 11 chains the wallet said it supported on 17 September, alongside Ethereum, Base, Robinhood Chain, Arc and others. On 13 October the account asked: “What should we ship next for @solana traders?”
What the post leaves out
These are Coinbase Wallet’s own figures, not an independent audit. The post does not say over what period the 6.5 million trades were counted, how landing time was measured, what swaps cost or in which countries the feature is available. Check the quote and fees shown in the app before you confirm a swap.
