What changed
fomo introduced a new leaderboard on its official X account on 30 October 2026. The headline addition is a positions tab, where users can discover top trades instead of only browsing top traders.
According to fomo, the new view lets users read theses, filter by size and toggle across all timeframes. fomo called it "a new way to discover" on the app.
Traders, Positions and Clans
fomo's release notes for 17 to 26 October list the change under mobile updates: a revamped leaderboard with dedicated tabs for Traders, Positions and Clans. The same release notes say perps holders can now read traders' theses directly beneath their positions.
A thesis on fomo is the short note a trader posts to explain why they opened a trade, so the Positions tab pairs each top trade with the reasoning behind it.
What fomo has not said
fomo has not explained how trades are ranked, which size filters or timeframes are available, or whether the leaderboard is also on web. It also did not mention regional limits.
Our take
Seeing top trades with the thesis attached is a useful way to learn how other traders think. But a spot on a leaderboard shows past results, not future ones. Treat it as a source of ideas, check the risk yourself, and never copy a trade, especially a leveraged one, just because it ranks high.
