Growing in Hong Kong
RedotPay, the stablecoin card and payments app, says it is putting more people and money into Hong Kong. In an article on its official X account on 3 November 2026, dated 2:00 PM Hong Kong time, the company said it has expanded its hiring and infrastructure presence in the city.
RedotPay says it has added more than 125 employees in Hong Kong since 2025. It has recently expanded its office in Central and set up a research and development centre in the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park.
The OASES link
OASES is the Office for Attracting Strategic Enterprises, a Hong Kong government office. RedotPay says it joined the OASES strategic enterprise cohort in April 2026 and has received its support since then, including for the new R&D centre.
RedotPay is exhibiting at Hong Kong FinTech Week as one of the OASES strategic enterprises, meeting public and private sector stakeholders and showing its future investment plans for Hong Kong. The company describes itself as serving more than nine million users in over 100 countries.
Our take
This is a corporate update, not a product change, so nothing changes for card holders today. RedotPay speaks of significant investment but gives no amount, hiring target or timeline, so the hard numbers are the 125 plus hires since 2025 and the two new sites. A growing local team and government backing point to a long-term base in Hong Kong as stablecoin payments rules there take shape.
