What SafePal announced

SafePal posted on its official X account on 27 October 2026 that its official online store now supports payments through Stripe, the payment company that runs checkout for many online shops. SafePal named three ways to pay through it: Apple Pay, Google Pay and bank cards. The post promises a faster checkout and smoother ordering and links straight to the store.

Before this, card buyers in SafePal's store went through a combined card or PayPal option. Stripe adds the phone wallets most people already use for everyday shopping, which means fewer details to type on a small screen.

How the new checkout looks

The post comes with a short official video that walks through an order for a SafePal X1. After the shipping step, the payment section now lists Stripe first, with Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay logos, followed by the options that were already there: card payment or PayPal and pay in crypto.

Picking Stripe opens a payment page with an Apple Pay button at the top and a card form underneath, marked Powered by Stripe. The video ends by pointing out that you can also enter your card details by hand instead of using a phone wallet.

What SafePal has not said

The announcement does not mention any extra fee for paying through Stripe, whether every delivery country gets the new option, or any change to prices, shipping times or returns. The order shown in the video is a demo with placeholder details, so do not read its shipping cost or delivery time as a quote for your own order. Your final total and the payment choices for your country appear at checkout.

Our take

Paying for a hardware wallet with Apple Pay or Google Pay is a small change, but it removes a step that puts some first-time buyers off. The safety habit stays the same: buy only from SafePal's official store or a reseller SafePal names, and never from a link someone sends you in a reply or a direct message. A genuine device creates its own recovery phrase, so never type that phrase into any website.
