What changed
Binance has added USD, AED, VND, PHP and IDR to the currencies it says are available for fiat withdrawals.
Who it affects
Binance users who cash out to a bank or payment method in one of those currencies, and anyone following the exchange's withdrawal restart after the security incident.
When
Binance posted the update at 08:00 UTC on Monday 2 November 2026 (09:00 in Amsterdam).

Five currencies added

Binance has widened the list of currencies its users can withdraw in. In a post titled "Fiat Withdrawal Update" on its official X account at 08:00 UTC on Monday 2 November 2026 (09:00 in Amsterdam), the exchange said "fiat withdrawals are now available" for five currencies it marked as new: the US dollar (USD), the UAE dirham (AED), the Vietnamese dong (VND), the Philippine peso (PHP) and the Indonesian rupiah (IDR).

The US dollar is the most notable addition for many users, while the dirham, dong, peso and rupiah are the currencies of the UAE, Vietnam, the Philippines and Indonesia. Binance did not give a reason why these five were not on the list before, and it did not say whether any limits or extra checks apply to them.

23 currencies already available

Binance also listed the currencies it describes as already available for fiat withdrawals: JPY, VES, BRL, MXN, ARS, BHD, KZT, EUR, CHF, CZK, HUF, KWD, PLN, RON, SEK, CDF, KES, SLE, UGX, XAF, XOF, ZMW and KGS. That list includes the euro, the Swiss franc, the Polish zloty, the Swedish krona and other European currencies, as well as the Japanese yen, the Brazilian real and several African and Latin American currencies.

Binance's support account had told users on 1 November that P2P and fiat withdrawal options remained available where supported while crypto withdrawals were paused. This post now names the currencies Binance considers available. Whether a currency works for a given user still depends on the payment methods Binance supports for that account and country.

Part of the wider withdrawal restart

The fiat update follows the phased restart of crypto withdrawals that Binance began at 06:00 UTC on 1 November, after the 29 October security incident. Binance ended the post by saying it "will continue to share further updates through official Binance channels." It has said an updated zero-knowledge Proof of Reserves report is due, which Exchange.news will cover when Binance publishes it.

As with every update in this incident, check withdrawal options only inside the Binance app or on Binance's own website, and treat links, addresses or "support" offers sent in replies or private messages with suspicion.
