ether.fi buys Zeal wallet assets and opens an in-app move for Zeal users

What ether.fi announced

ether.fi said on its official X account on 23 October 2026 that it has acquired Zeal, the crypto wallet that posts as @zealwallet. Alongside the news, ether.fi said Zeal users can now migrate to ether.fi directly inside the Zeal app in a few clicks.

A few minutes later ether.fi narrowed the description in a reply to Zeal: it has acquired selected Zeal assets, not user accounts, keys or funds. That distinction matters for anyone holding money in Zeal. Nothing moves automatically, ether.fi does not take over anyone's wallet keys, and users who want to switch have to choose to migrate.

What ether.fi offers arriving users

ether.fi's announcement lists what Zeal users get on the other side: borrowing against a portfolio, earning, trading stocks and gold, and spending in 199 countries with up to 4% cashback. Those are ether.fi's own marketing claims for its existing products. Cashback rates and features usually depend on card tier and country, so the current ether.fi terms are the place to check what a given user would actually receive.
