What ether.fi published
ether.fi posted its October 2026 analytics on its official X account on 3 November 2026. The post sets the numbers against a difficult month for the wider market: "Crypto had one of its roughest Octobers in years. Exchange hacks, supply chain attacks on hardware wallets, a market-wide pullback. Our October was boring by comparison. And boring is good."
The figures come in a single image with four headline numbers and a daily chart of eETH supply, which ether.fi uses as its TVL measure. There is no separate blog post or help-centre page with more detail.
The four headline numbers
The 30-day APR on weETH, the wrapped version of ether.fi's eETH liquid staking token, was 2.31%. Total value locked stood at 2.29 million ETH, which ether.fi shows as $5.15 billion.
TVL measured in ETH changed by -0.52% over the month. The chart puts exact numbers on that: eETH total supply went from 2,299,342 ETH to 2,287,390 ETH, a drop of roughly 12,000 ETH. The fourth figure is 14,740 under the label "weETH moved across chains". The image does not say whether this counts tokens or transfers.
How the month played out
The daily chart shows eETH supply drifting lower for most of October, from just under 2.3 million ETH at the start of the month. It fell more sharply after 21 October, to a low below 2.27 million ETH around 23 October, then jumped back to about 2.29 million the next day and stayed close to that level until 31 October.
ether.fi does not explain the dip or the rebound in the post, so we do not speculate on the cause.
What the post does not say
The update covers staking metrics only. It gives no figures for ether.fi Cash, its card or its Liquid vaults, and the 2.31% APR is a trailing 30-day number, not a promised rate. Staking rewards change over time and liquid staking tokens carry smart-contract and market risk.
Our take
In a month that many users will remember for exchange and wallet security incidents, a flat staking balance and a steady APR is the story ether.fi wants to tell, and the numbers it published back that up. A 0.52% dip in ETH terms is small. If you use ether.fi for staking or its card, the offer on this page is the same one we always list.
